Trip to Otumoetai Pa with the daycare

What a fun morning! I went to visit the Otumoetai Pa site and checked out the 300 year old Titoki tree and the wooden carvings. The local daycare we have links with visited too and I enjoyed singing some Maori songs with them! Ka pai!

Playing the Drums

Our music session was all about drums and the different types of them ......... Samba, Japanese, steel, bucket ....... the list goes on. I even got the chance to have a go on the drums myself.

Highland Games

I really enjoyed the Highland Games at the centre. The other centres came along and it was nice to see everyone. I had a go at the (blow up) hammer throwing and the TargetBoard. We even had a proper bagpiper come in and treat us.

Planet earth sensory

There were lots of balls to feel in planet earth sensory. I put it on my tummy and felt it while I relaxed.

Pamper day

I really enjoyed our pamper day at Wilrose. The centre was transformed into a spa and you could get your nails, hair and make up done. I got my hair done by no-one other than the Boss! Only the best for me!

Sensory room

I enjoyed singing to a song from frozen in my music session and then I really really relaxed in the afternoon with a waterfall scene and candlelight and made sic!
