Pilot Bay

 I enjoyed a short trip to Pilot bay to feed the seagulls some left over bread. I walked from the van to the beach with my friend David and enjoyed watching the birds eat all the bread up! 

Singing

 I love singing. Linda at Arohanui plays the guitar and I enjoyed a singalong of some Māori waiata this week and we all did our pepeha too as it is Māori language week.

Collaborative Art and Te Reo Maori

 We are working on a collaborative art project with a Te Reo Maori theme. “He rau ringa e oti ai” - Many hands make light work! We drew around our hands and coloured them in with designs. 

Karaoke Fun

 Music is my favourite thing at Wilrose. I love singing and dancing with my friends. We’ve all made our own playlists of our favourite songs and when mine come on I sing along and often have a dance too! 

Sensory

 I love relaxing in the sensory room on an afternoon. We play relaxing music, have lovely aromatherapy scents and it is warm and comfortable. I love this colourful blanket too.

Puzzles & games

 I enjoy doing some puzzles at Wilrose. Some of them I can do easily and some are a bit more tricky. When I finish them my friends give me a clap and a cheer! 

Music

 I love music. Each week at Wilrose I sing karaoke songs with my friends. This week we all played musical instruments too. This big drum makes a cool sound!
